Darth Maul vs Mace Windu

The Phantom Menace vs The Vaapad Master 

   

In this match up we will be comparing their Physical, Dueling, Tactical, and Force abilities against each other and later end the duel in a scenario.

Round 1: Physical Abilites

Darth Maul 

Darth Maul was a well built humanoid Zabarak Warrior who was in his physical prime, considered to be stronger than most, in fact he was highly conditioned to do long engagements with enemy fighters and last for a long time in battle. If we were to rate on a scale of 1-10 on how good of shape Darth Maul was in he would be reaching a 9.5-10, he is the perfect fighting condition duelist. He is not only physically strong, but extremely fast as we and agile in his movements. He is seen using many physical strikes within his combat sequences as well as performing aerial flips during duels crediting his physical abilities. He also has a great endurance for engagements and has one of the highest pain thresholds due to his species, he can tank mounts of pain and keep fighting. In short you wouldnt want to go against Maul and expect to last. 

Mace Windu

Mace Windu was a Human Jedi who was older in his years around 40, but he was just as good in shape as men half his age. He was considered one of the most powerful force users in the Jedi order and was gifted with great physical abilities, Mace Windu was considered to be one of the most in shape Jedi of the order, on a scale of 1-10 on physical conditioning, Mace Windu would be at a 9, I say 9 due to his older age, but dont let that fool you in how well he is conditioned. Mace Windu was well conditioned to have marathon lightsaber duels as well as engage with enemies who were younger and stronger than he was, but to give you an idea of how strong Mace Windu was during a battle in the clone wars he destroyed over 100,000 battle droids in a fight and slayed many of them just using his bare hands. This speaks greatly to his strength, speed, agility, and endurance to last in a fight. Mace also was able to keep up with the speeds of Grand Master Yoda and Darth Sidious who were considered some of the fastest beings in the galaxy. He fought on equal offensive output as General Grievous who could strike up to 20 strikes per second, if not Mace Windu could put more of an offensive output making him deathly quick.

Although I said Maul was at a 10 and Mace was at a 9 that doest mean Maul would be able to outlast him nor Mace able to outlast Maul they both would go in giving it their all til a killing blow is struck. 

Round 2: Dueling Abilites

Darth Maul

Darth Maul was considered to be one of the finest duelist in Star Wars History, I mean in the Top 7 Duelist in the Galaxy. He was able to combat both Obi Wan Kenobi ( Padowan, but fought later as he was a Jedi Master too ) Qui Gon Jin in the first episode and manages to slay Qui Gon. Qui Gon was considered to be one of the finer swordsmen of the Jedi Order at the time. Darth Maul was also able to contend with Darth Sidious 1 on 1 for a while until he was out maneuvered and then defeated by the Dark Lords Force powers. However, make no Mistake Darth Maul has fought not only Jedi, but Count Dooku, Asasjj Ventress, and General Grievous as well and managed to live through them. Darth Mauls dueling style was Form 7 Juyo which was the highly aggressive and offensive form of combat. The Form was considered to be unpredictable and rapid in attacks giving great offensive output onslaughts. However, that doesn't mean Maul didn't have balance as due to his double sided lightsaber he was able to do attacks and counter attacks if opponents attacked him. He was a greatly gifted duelist I would say only the best of the best could contend with Maul and live to tell about it, or be lucky enough to escape before its too late. 

Mace Windu

 

Mace Windu was considered 2nd to none in Lightsaber Combat, he was one of the best and most powerful lightsaber combatants anyone has ever seen. He not only was able to contend with Darth Sidious by himself, but he outfought Sidious, though some speculate Sidious through the fight, but allow me to elaborate, At first yes Sidious threw the fight to save time for Anakin to see that Windu was attacking him, but during that fight Sidious regretted allowing Mace to live for a moment because this allowed  Mace Windu to actually use his form Vaapad and was starting to get the actual upper hand on the Sith Lord and Sidious feared his arrogance of that moment would cost him his life. Mace Windu is the master who created the Form 7 style of Vaapad, this was a form that allowed Jedi to enter into the fight and enjoy the duel and use the opponents dark side abilities against them. It is much like the Sith Form 7 Style Juyo, but only used for the light side of the force, but not many Jedi Practiced it due to its nature to lure Jedi to the Dark Side. Mace has even effortlessly decapitated the most dangerous bounty hunter Jango Fett as well and often Sparred against Count Dooku, a person who was on his level besides Yoda or Sidious. If anything Mace Windu is an accomplished Duelist who only the best of the best could stand up to.

Darth Maul: 4.9

Mace Windu: 5.1

Seriously its almost so close its negligible, but this would be an ultimate duel of the two masters apprentices, Yoda's prodigy vs Sidious's Apprentice. If either of them slips up at all during this fight with each other its likely the other will perish to ones blade work. Windu only has the slight advantage because he can use Darth Mauls Dark Side energy against him, but that alone wouldn't be enough to beat Darth Maul.  

  

Round 3: Force Abilites

DARTH MAUL

Darth Maul was considered to be a powerful force user, he was trained by the Dark Lord of The Sith, Darth Sidious. He used most of his abilities in his physical combat, this helps to contribute to his higher pain threshold, his insane strength and endurance, as well as his force precognition was on point, precognition is when you have foresight of the future, hence why in the prequels it looks like choreographed dance fighting because its so smooth of these warriors in their prime. Darth Maul had good use of his basic attacks of Force Push, Force Pull, Force Throw, as well as Force Speed, he also uses the Dark Side of the Force to fuel his anger and hatred in gaining him power. 

MACE WINDU 

Mace Windu was considered a very powerful Jedi Master in the force, second to Yoda, he was gifted in many attributes of the abilities the force granted him. He was gifted with great precognition foresight, force crush, force push, speed, throw, physical strength and agility, and his greatest force ability shatter point: This ability is able to look for the weaknesses in opponents, like starting at a perfect shaped mirror, but being able to see the weak point. In his battles Mace Windu has been seen sending hundreds of battle droids flying by a powerful force push, he is also a Jedi who knows mind trick, force infiltration: This is when you can go inside someones mind to read their thoughts. In anything short Mace Windu was considered to be the Chosen One, until Anakin came along.

Round 4: Tactics 

Darth Maul was considered to be a great dueling tactic mind, he was able to contend with two Jedi at the same time and make it difficult for both of them to overcome him, not only that, but Darth Maul was able to lure out Obi Wan Kenobi by causing some destruction around the Galaxy and trapping and even capturing the Great Tactic mind like Obi Wan Kenobi. Maul also took over the warrior planet Mandelore and controlled that section for a short time, he became so much of a dangerous force that even the Emperor himself wen to deal with him. Eventually Maul always skeemed to get revenge on those who do him wrong, such as Obi Wan Kenobi, he succeed in his revenge by killing Obi Wan Kenobi's love right in front of him only to see the Jedi Master broken. ( Wait Obi Wan had  a love connection? Yes he had a prior love connection and harbored feelings, but it didnt destroy him). However, the point was that Darth Maul usually knows how to succeed in his plans and strategy. He is a master manipulator and is able to trick people into doing his bidding. 

Mace Windu 

Mace Windu was a great, powerful, and wise Jedi Master. He was a very great strategist in his tactics when it came on engagements. Mace was one of the greatest Generals in the Clone Wars, normally taking on the hardest and most deadly missions other armies had to offer. Mace normally succeeded in his missions as well as his task, however when it comes to dueling he is very direct and forward, one would say his rushing to Palatines office was considered rash and wreckless when it came to confronting the Dark Lord of The Sith, Mace underestimated his opponent by only taking 4 Jedi Masters, however one could argue he didnt underestimate his opponent if he took 4 Jedi Masters, but that is always up for debate. However, despite Mace Windu's direct and forward approach, he can manage to do it because he is able to back it up and hold his own in almost any situation.

The Scenario

VS

       


This battle will take place in the Coruscant Senate building, only instead of Mace Windu going to confront the Chancloer with his 4 Jedi, Mace instead finds the Former apprentice of the Sith hunting down Palpatine. The two would stare at each other for a moment, and Mace would say " So your the one who killed Qui Gon Jin." Darth Maul would smile and remove his robes and get into a stance ready for battle. Maul igniting his double sided lightsaber would be ready for Mace Windu to take the approach and wait for his opponent to make the first move. Mace Windu would ignite his lightsaber and begin his attack first, Maul would notice how fast and aggressive Mace Windu's strikes were and how it dawned on him the familiarity of the style, it was like his Juyo, but only not. Maul would reassess the situation and begin putting counter strikes into the Jedi Masters sequence, Mindu would be very strong to see these counters coming and use an offensive move to counter Darth Mauls Counters, but then Windu would suddenly feel a kick against his chest, as he went flying back he would see Darth Maul leap in the air ready to commit to an assault of his own, as Windu would land on his feet and regain composure he and Maul would be striking at each other blow for blow matching each others speed, strength, agility, and ferocity. The room would be flashing with bright colors of red and purple as the two would battle it out, through the dark city one could speculate that the flashes of red and purple lighting were in the sky. Inside the room Maul would use a force push to knock Mace Windu off balance, but Windu would simply do an areal assault and land on his feet, he would return a force push only for Maul to tank it and stand in a strong warrior position. This was starting to become a contest to the will of the warrior. Both would again engage in a jaw dropping lightsaber exchange as both ferocity warriors would strike and counter, strike and counter, only no one is able to get the upper hand on each other, the more this duel played out though the more clear Mace Windu's Vaapad would start to kick in and see the Dark Force users power and start to work it against him. This would happen as then Mace would see Mauls greatest weakness, his double sided lightsaber, with a quick swing of his blade, Mace Windu would cut Darth Mauls lightsaber in half, and suddenly kick Maul to the ground with one of Mauls lightsaber half's falling out the senate building window. Attempting to make a finishing move on Maul by striking down, Maul would quickly leap up to avoid a final lightsaber strike, and reengage with Mace Windu Single blade to single blade. Mace and Maul would land a few strikes of punches and kicks to each other, but then finally Mace Knew what he would have to do to finish this fight. Mace would allow Maul to attack with his ferocity and let Maul give into his anger and hate, for he had Vaapad, and it succeeds though not without sacrifice, as Maul would continue his onslaught Mace would strike true and cut the sith in half finally seeing an opening, but Maul would take Mace Windu's arm in the process. As Maul would fall out the window cut in Half, Mace would be recalling the Jedi Masters for assistance and be rushed to a Jedi Temple to regain a robotic hand, the attack on the Emperor would have to wait.

My Personal Thoughts and opinons

In the end not much force abilities would really be used in this battle, the only time they would be used is if one would get distance over the other. In this circumstance it wouldnt be a powerful force push that would decide a winner, but rather the influences of the force within a fight, both Mace Windu and Maul would be on equal footing the entire time in dueling the only reason Mace Windu would win is because of his force abilities shatter point, and Vaapad to use Mauls dark energy against him, slowly, but surely, however with great sacrifice.

The winner 

Mace Windu: 5.2 out of 10 times. 

Darth Maul: 4.8 out of 10 times.

The Awakening vs The Jedi Hunter 

The Awakening

Rey: A young athletic female human who is relatively new to the force, but shows promising potential to become powerful. She is a character who has a mysterious back ground story and grew up on the dessert planet of Jakku. Rey is learning how to become a Jedi much like Luke, but she show cases a natural nack for Force Powers as well as a quick ability in learning some Lightsaber Techniques. Rey is found by a BB8 unit on the planet of Jakku that pulls her into the Star Wars Story and she shows that she was a survivor on the planet by constantly scavaging as well as being capable of defending herself against a couple of thugs on the planet. Later as she runs into Han Solo and Chewbacca she goes on a journey to help the Resistance. Because she is traveling with Han Solo she goes to a planet by the name of Takodana, there she goes inside the palaces basement and discovers the original Skywalker Lightsaber, by doing this the Lightsaber acts as a holocron type ( A magical information tool, its like a magic book that provides instant knowledge.) By touching the Skywalker Lightsaber she gained a vision of many different types of events in the history of Star Wars. With a Force Ghost of Kenobi saying " Rey these are your first steps". By this happening Rey awoke her Force Powers and the natural Jedi heritage she has. During this time the palace came under attack by the First Order and Kylo Ren. She engaged Kylo Ren for a short time before being knocked out by a force ability and taken to Star Killer Base. There she was interrogated by Kylo Ren and was able to resist his interrogation mind read tactic and rather read his mind instead, this confused the Dark figure and he left in frustration, shortly after she did a Jedi mind trick against a Storm Trooper who loosened her restraints and she snuck through the Star Killer base only to be found by Finn. As her and Finn snuck through the base they witnessed Han Solo being killed by Kylo Ren aka Ben Solo ( Hans son ). This broke Reys heart as she saw Han as a father figure she didn't have, but tears would have to wait because shortly after she and Finn had to face off against a wounded Kylo Ren by Chewies Bowcaster. Rey initially got force pushed into a tree and was knocked out by Kylo Ren again only later to obtain conscious and use a Force Pull to then engage in a lightsaber duel with Kylo Ren. Rey was more of a defensive fighter at first, but later went on the offensive to gain a victory over a defeated Kylo Ren, she later appears in The Last Jedi and undergoes some training from Luke Skywalker, but he comments her ability in the force is natural and strong and she only has a few lessons given. She works on some of her lightsaber skills a little and force abilities, but during her stay she keeps having mind connections with Kylo Ren and she questions who Luke is, the two engage in a short fight and Rey "wins" However this is Luke just not wanting to fight. Rey later leaves the island to help save her friends. As she leaves she gives herself up to the First Order to be brought before the Dark Figurehead Supreme Leader Snoke. Rey tries to engage against Supreme Leader, but she is utterly rag dolled in the force and is put before Kylo Ren for execution, but Kylo Ren betrays his master and helps free Rey and the two engage against the Supreme Leaders royal and trusted Praetorian Guards. Though Rey sustains a small injury from a highly trained royal guard, her and Kylo Ren manage to eliminate all 8 of them. It was a 2 on 8 fight. After Kylo and Rey have their differences and she ship is blown up, Rey manages to escape back to the planet of Crait. When she arrives she uses the Force to lift up a land slide of boulders to save her friends and the resistance. She is last seen talking with Princess Leia. In short Rey is a natural gifted force user, combatant, but there is more to come hopefully. 

General Grievous: The infamous and feared Jedi Hunter General Grievous was a Cyborg General of the Droid Army in the Clone Wars. The General was considered a great and powerful warrior able to contend with Jedi Master leveled Jedi despite having no force powers. The General was once a Kalish Alien leader who was considered a God by this people due to his great war abilities. The General earned his name because his wife was killed in action and he was grieving for her, hence the name General Grievous. While going to seek aid for his people Count Dooku sabotaged the Generals ship and blew it up, but managed to save Grievous's body in the process and had him completely rebuilt. The only thing that remained of Grievousness's body was his organs, as well as brain and some eye tissue. The General was rebuilt to have natural enhanced reflexes to keep up with the Jedi as well as he was programmed to know all 7 Lightsaber forms in an instant. Imagine having instant knowledge of all Lightsaber forms and having a brain chip calculate when to use what form.  However having this information was helpful, but there was more needing to be done then just having it. Count Dooku ( One of the top swordsmen at the time ) trained General Grievous in secret for many hours in the amount of hundreds. Dooku always telling the General if he was to have a chance against Jedi, he would need fear, intimidation, surprise, and unorthodox attacks on his side. The General would make great use of this in his battles to come against Jedi. Through the Clone Wars, The General has been seen many times engaging with Jedi and usually overpowering, overwhelming, or giving close calls to powerful beings. In his victories Grievous would collect the lightsabers of his fallen victims and claim them and trophies from his kills. Grievous has at least 10 Lightsabers. General Grievousness main rival in the Clone Wars was Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi. Eventually the two had a final duel on the planet Utapau. Kenobi victorious. 

Round 1: Physical Abilities

                VS     

Rey: Rey is a well built and athletic human female who has a strong sense of will and decent endurance. She normally trains hard and extensively in her Staff abilities and then trained in light saber combat training hinting she has more of a Jedi Guardian type. Jedi Guardians are what Anakin and Obi Wan Kenobi are, they are beings who focus more on their physical bodies and basic force attacks rather than force powers, but Rey use of the force is in her reflex as well as more un combative, but more on that later. However, Rey has good strength to her able to out muscle a wounded Kylo Ren who was using his pain to fuel his Dark Side as well she has good endurance to have a pretty long duel. However, she does have a limit on her physical endurance, my examples are her being able to be knocked out by simple knock out powers. In short Rey is a capable combatant who shoes promise if she shows more refinement.

Strengths: Has good formidable strength to hold against a physically stronger opponent like Kylo Ren, Decent endurance to help fight 8 Praetorian Guards, fast reflexes.

Weakness: Rey does have a physical limit to where she can be knocked out by a powerful blow, though she has a heart that will keep her fighting, she can be over powered.

General Grievous: General Grievous is a cyborg which means he has enhanced strength and speed that of super humans aka Jedi strength and speed, but more on the faster and powerful side. Because General Grievous is a cyborg and he as cybernetic body he doesnt tire, which means he can give an unlimited output of onslaught attacks and not be tired, the General is so fast that he can dodge force base attacks and close the distance quick on his opponents resorting them to Lightsaber combat. The Generals body is also made of DuraSteel which is strong enough to resist light placed Lightsaber strikes making him a walking fighting speedy humanoid tank. The General is also enhanced with Jedi type reflexes as well as the General is pretty finesse when he needs to be. The General also has 4 arms he cause use at his disposal in case one gets hacked off, but regardless The General will always be in the fight til the end.

Strengths: The General has many strengths in this category, from never tiring, to having quick enough reflexes to keep up with Jedi Master leveled duelist,   having superior strength over most Jedi and Sith, having superior speed where the fastest Jedi have a challenging time keeping up. In short General Grievous is a battle machine always ready to fight.

Weakness: There are no real weaknesses to General Greivous's body, despite he only has a few organs and small amounts of tissue and he coughs alot, his body allows him to perform in top condition all the time.

Round 2: Duelist Abilities

      VS        

Rey:

Rey is seen in TFA and TLJ dueling with her Lightsaber and staff to enemies and people who would be considered as fairly impressive. My main example is she bested Kylo Ren in a duel on Star Killer Base and held her own, she is seen at her beginning beating up street thugs with her staff as well as she trains often with that staff. In The Last Jedi she is seen taking on Praetorian Guards who are highly trained like General Grievous's Magna Guards, but she out best them as well, but not without taking injury. Rey shows some competence skills in her Lightsaber abilities, being able to put up a defense against Kylo Rens strikes as well as when she had the opportunity she took an offensive of her own against a exhausted, emotionally torn, and wounded Kylo Ren. However, despite all of these types of physical and emotional influences on Kylo Ren he was using his pain to fuel his Darkside rage to combat Rey. Rey has a small sparring match with Luke and technically " Won".

Strengths: Rey has a compressible understanding of combat and has been exposed to it before, she shows that with training she can be promising and powerful. She is able to contend with other Lightsaber wielding foes along with Highly Trained soldiers. Her staff abilities are experienced as well as good formed (If she had a double bladed Lightsaber she would be much more powerful, but alas she doesnt ). However we do see her being able to take on multiple opponents at once who are soldiers and dessert thugs, and she is willing to spar against Grand Master Luke Skywalker. From estimations Reys lightsaber forms are unrefined versions of Form III Soresu on the defense, and mix of Form I Shii Cho & Form II Makashi for the offense, the reason for this is she takes alot of stabs from inexperience, but Makashi focuses on piercing techniques, where as her power strikes come from Shii Cho.

Weakness: Despite her understanding of combat, she lacks a lot of training and experience when it comes to higher skilled Lightsaber duelist and combatants. Rey also relies a lot on her staff, but not enough on her Lightsaber skills, though some argue the skills would transfer allow me to say that is untrue, though some skills may transfer over, not all skills do. Fighting Bo Staff to then switch to Sword is completely different principles and focuses and practice along with form. Rey is good enough to hold her own, but she is unrefined. If anything Rey is a newbie who has new founded powers in raw ability, raw ability is not skill just raw potential granted how powerful that may be. Rey has great potential to become a great swordswoman that can contend with skilled duelist, but she is not on that level yet. Sparring matches are only sparring matches, in which she was disarmed by Luke, thus having her pull a lethal weapon only to get the upper hand against a stick wielding Luke. If Rey were to contend with Luke in an actual Lightsaber duel she would be completely outclassed and quickly dealt with by way of disarming again or losing a limb to a more experienced Lightsaber wielder.  

Grievous: 

Trained by the famous swordsman Count Dooku, Grievous was taught to be unorthodox as well have a high skill in all 7 Lightsaber forms. General Grievous has the skill and experience to be considered a Master Leveled swordsman on Jedi Master Level duelist. The General has had many experiences in fighting clones, other alien races, and of course Jedi. Here are some list of his accomplished fights from greatest powers to least.

1.  Master level/ Sith Lord: Count Dooku, Obi Wan, Kit Fisto, Mace Windu, Eeth Koth, Ala Secura, Shak Tii, Ki Adi Mundi, Darth Maul ( briefly )
2.Jedi Knight/Sith Apprentice: Asajj Ventress, Nahdar Vebb, Roron Corobb, Foul Moudama, Daakman Barrek,
3. Padowan/ Jedi: Ashoka Tano, Sha'a Gi, Tarr Seirr, and much more
4. Arc Troopers
5. Normal Clone Troopers/ Basic military units

The point of this is that Grievous is shown to be really proficient with dueling and has great experience against powerful beings and foes, he is very combat hardened and highly trained enough that he took on groups of Jedi at a time, not just one or two, but groups of high trained Jedi. General Grievous because he has 4 arms can wield 4 Lightsabers at the same time with complete control without damaging himself. Not only this, but the General usually overwhelms his opponents with his onslaught of attacks breaking peoples defensive barriers as well as he can have a devastating onslaught of attacks that makes it perfect for opponents who try to out offense Grievous. This is why the Jedi Council sent Obi Wan Kenobi, because it was near impossible to take an offensive approach against the general, hence why they sent the perfect master of defensive combat. Only the best swordsmen would be able to out duel Grievous. Despite Grevious's successes and experiences, most of his Master Level Jedi he has fought has either beaten him and he escaped or  came to a draw. He only beat one Jedi Master, but it was with the help of his Magna Guards as well. However despite the use of his Magna guards, General Grievous would be able combat Jedi on his own.

Strengths: Grievous is a very renounced swordsman of is time and has the title Jedi Hunter for a reason. He has enhanced abilities and high skill in being trained in Lightsaber combat as well he has a great amount of experience against a huge amount of opponents. General Grievous is the only non force sensitive to successfully engage in Lightsaber combat with Jedi and win. His training and unorthodox style mixed with his never tiring super human cyborg body is a complete devastation against most duelist.

Weakness: The General usually is very prideful and arrogant in his abilities and sometimes underestimates his opponents leaving himself wide open for attacks. The General also puts such a high out put of offense to simply overwhelm his opponents, but if he is stopped in his tracks he usually losses his momentum of the battle. Again if the General doesnt have one of his elements in his battle it could cost him his life, of course this is only a worry against Master Leveled and high skilled Jedi Knights.

Round 3: Tactics

           VS  

Rey

Rey is normally thinking on her feet when it comes to dealing with adversity. Though not all of her plans work, there are times she shows that she is clever in her abilities to critically think. Rey is no battle tactician in fact she is a lot like Anakin in ways where she is very direct and straight forward. Much like when she charged at Supreme Leader Snoke and was Force Rag dolled. Or when she directly faced Kylo Ren in an initiate offensive assault due to her inexperience, when she realized that she couldn't mount a successful attack she immediately went on the retreat and defensive position evading for most of the fight. However, once the force kicked in her abilities she became more confident and powerful and was able to mount an offense against Kylo Ren and in her battle of Praetorian guards she was able to fight multiple opponents at once showing she had comfort in a fight at that point.  

Stength: Rey is a brave woman who will rise to the challenge of those she faces, she sometimes rushes in, but can quickly realize what works and what doesn't. This is important in a fight when it comes to dueling. Rey is also good at leading her opponents to desirable locations for her own safety. 

Weakness: Much like Anakin Skywalker, Rey is very direct and aggressive at first due to an inexperience she is trying to a get a one shot blow at first. However if this fails it leaves her very vulnerable. Just like her initiative in the Kylo Ren she struck first, but was quickly pushed back on her defense. If Rey isnt careful and doesnt think through her direct actions it could very well cost her life.  

Grievous 

The General was a brilliant tactic mind when it came to battle and war, many regarded him as a legendary leader when it came to fighting his opponents not only be conventional military on military force, but as a duelist as well. General Grievous was a master of using fear and intimidation as well as surprise when facing his opponents. This would cause someone to lose their moral during a fight thus leaving them vulnerable for his onslaught of attacks. General Grievous as well is very bold and fearless when it comes to initiating an assault, but the big difference between him and Rey is that if Grievous takes an initial attack he can back it up with experience and onslaught causing more duelist to on their back foot and defend giving him momentum. Grievous will normally initiate a duel with only 2 arms and 2 light sabers causing the opponent to fall into a false sense of security, but much like his battle with Roron Corobb and Foul Moudama he engaged with only 2 blades at once letting them fall into the false sense, but then once he detached his arms to make 4 arms he surprised them and quickly cut through them. The General took Count Dooku's lessons of dueling to heart and applied them as often as he can making him a brilliant tactician. 

Strengths: Grievous usually plays mind games with his opponents. He enjoys breaking moral and having fear on his side. The General is smart by letting people fall into the false sense of security, but then overwhelming them with a brutal and vicious onslaught. In short he is nothing less than brilliant. He knows how to manipulate a fight to his advantages. 

Weakness: General Grievous is only bested by those who can out think his tactic mind such as Obi Wan Kenobi, Kit Fisto, Count Dooku, and Mace Windu. Also if Grievous's momentum is stopped it normally leads to him pulling a retreat against his opponents or leaving him unable to perform to his fullest ability simply because he cant match against the person out witting him.

Round 4: Force Abilities vs Training against The Force

 

Rey

Rey is a naturally gifted Force user who is very promising in being powerful in the Force. She pulls off feats that are quite impressive when it comes to levitating objects, mind games, as well as force pull. She also uses the force in order to help guide her in her combat sequences hence explaining some of her feats with combat. 

Strengths: Sense Rey has a lot of force potential we see her using incredible abilities that would take most Jedi years to learn, she is a natural prodigy, but her feats are nothing really impressive compared to other powerful force users. It is only impressive with how quickly she learns abilities. However, if she has enough training and time she can become one of the most powerful force users in the Star Wars universe.   

Weakness: Although her force potential and abilities are impressive she lacks for any combat abilities in the force, she wouldn't be bale to use a mind trick on Grievous because of his Alien race let alone his intelligence and strong will. Grievous would also be able to block out her mind reading because he is so focused on hate that is all she would find is pure rage. 

Grievous

General Grievous again has no force powers what so ever. He is Forceless, but that does not mean he is completely helpless against the use of The Force against him. He was trained by Count Dooku on how to dodge and maneuver around the force and its powerful abilities, only catching him off guard with a force push or power is what will make him lose focus. However, General Grievous has gone up against many powerful Force Wielders who used their advance techniques on him, but he managed to quickly recover or evade the incoming attacks, also he has clawed very powerful cyborg legs and feet that allow him to be planted to the ground at all times if he wishes. He was once pushed by a dragon breath force ability capable of sending hundreds of battle droids flying, but Grievous stood and even advanced through the maximized force push. However, if someone is deadly and quick enough to use Force Crush it would take a high powerful Jedi to collapse Grievous's chest cavity. 

Strengths: General Grievous was trained by Dooku to be a effective combatant against force wielders, either by evasion or tanking a hit. Grievous has learned how to battle the force from his cybernetics. 

Weakness: If caught off guard he could be sent flying into trees or wherever, someone just has to get the surprise on him.

The Battle Scenario:

Kylo Vs Rey on Star Killer Base Forest ( General Grievous vs Rey here )

The Awakening vs The Jedi Hunter 

A cold wind would blow though the night on the snow covered trees on Star Killer Base. Rey would be in search for her ship, but suddenly she would see a tall Dark figure in a Black shrouded cape standing only a few hundred feet away from her. To Rey's curiosity she would wait to see what the figure would do. In her mind, thoughts would race as to what the figure was. "Was it watching her this whole time?" "What was it?" "Or rather was she being hunted?" filled with worry and fear Rey would Ignite her Lightsaber ready for an attack, her blade would ignite, but the figures cape would be flying through the air, and disappear. Rey would slowly walk through the forest glancing all around each tree and usually looking above her head to see if anything would move. Not being able to see anything in the snow storm all Rey could hear was raspy breathing and occasionally a robotic cough. Grasping her Lightsaber tighter she would be ready for anything that came her way, but suddenly she could hear foot steps, not like any other normal human foot steps, big heavy and metal clanging foot steps, it was close, but unseen and where? Suddenly a giant white figure would descend from the trees causing Rey to dashed forward and evade the crushing attack. As the figure hit the ground with its massive weight a giant snow cloud would rushed up in the air suddenly colored with blue and green lights flashing toward Rey, Glowing Yellow eyes would pierce through the Snow cloud stating in a evil robotic voice: "I am have come to bring your death Jedi, for I am General Grievous, The Greatest Jedi Killer in the Galaxy". Rey was frozen with fright for she has never seen a creature like this before, it was not man or alien, but a Cyborg with 2 Lightsabers. Grievous would begin his onslaught of his assault causing Rey to go on the defensive and block a few strikes, However Rey would quickly recognize she was needing to run away instead of stand and fight. She would be dodging and evading through trees with a constant slashing of the forest being cut down around her, tree and tree would fall with snow cloud after snow cloud rising, but still with the flashes of blue and green lights twirling about them. Grievous would be on the chase and pursuit of the fight. Rey would stand ready to fight Grievous, as the Cyborg General approached her she would use a powerful Force Pull to grab a few heavy fallen trees to try and smash the General. Surprisingly this would catch the General off guard and he would quickly turn to cut the heavy trees into pieces and evade them, but then turn his attention back at Rey. To his surprise Rey would attempt an offensive assault against he General giving her own offensive strikes, The general would be put on his back foot because Rey would be influenced by the Force. As Rey would be in a lockup against the General she would say " Your time is at an end, Monster!" With a uneasy laugh the General would reply " Have you not? You must realize, You. Are. Doomed." Suddenly where he had 2 arms they would now break away into 4 and suddenly 2 more Lightsabers would ignite the snow covered area. From a distance a snow cloud filled with quick green and blue flashes would be seen for a few seconds, but then darkness. As the night wind blew through the snow the only thing that could be heard was 

" Your Lightsaber will make a fine addition to my collection." 

The Alternative

Rey is able to send the trees at Grievous as he strikes them away and dodges them, Rey is able to escape and train in order to face the General again one day. 

The winner

My Closing Thoughts

In the end of the fight this wouldn't come down to a use of the force to handle her adversary, although Rey tried to use the force it was a failure due to her inexperience with the force during combat. Rey's inexperience with combat and force abilities made her less suitable for combat with the force as well as Lightsabers against a more skilled opponent. Rey normally handles her foes with a Lightsaber. This is proven because she not only engages Kylo Ren or the Praetorian Guards, but Supreme Leader Snoke. This was shown she is very head strong and direct as she charged a more powerful force wielder who rag dolled her, the same could be said she would do the same with Grievous if she had the chance. The thing is Grievous was more superior in every way, even the force abilities category he was so well trained,  he was able to combat more experienced force combative Jedi and better duelist. The best comparison is like a Young Ashoka Tano vs Grievous, normally she would shortly engage, but then she would have to retreat, only Rey isnt Tano. Rey might retreat for a moment, but if she sees an opportunity she attacks head on and that poor combat decision costed her dearly.  

My Personal Experience and Thoughts

Again I have had almost 15+ Years of Sword Play experience, although I cant speak for ways of the force, I know enough in the dueling abilities which is what this fight would come down to. This is really a person who is a beginner who shows promising potential going against a seasoned warrior. This was a little bit of an unfair fight really, not because of  a bias, but really its pitching a novice to combat (although she fared well against highly trained Praetorian Guards), but General Grievous is en entirely different category. The chances are highly likely in the favors of General Grievous. In the End General Grievous, The Jedi Hunter, wins this contest 9/10 times.

Opening

Anakin vs Luke, The Chosen one vs A New Hope. The Skywalkers, Star Wars most famous name in the universe.  The famous name only to the most powerful force users in the entire galaxy.

Hello my Name is Russell Ricketts and today I am going to be comparing The Skywalkers against each other in a fight on who would win in a duel. 

On a quick note I am not going to be using The Dark Suited Lord Vader, but only in moments when Anakin taps into Darth Vaders Power as a normal Jedi Human. Yes they are considered two people in cannon and even Darth Vader admits Anakin is different from himself, but the only aspect of Vader we will see with Anakin is by his time at the end of Episode 3 and Luke by the time of Episode 6.

Round 1 Physical Abilities 

            VS           

Anakin: A young 23 year old male who was athletically built and physically strong, Anakin had a high pain tolerance that could keep him fighting and usually he uses his overwhelming strength and speed against his opponents. Anakin is known for his long winded endurance, an example of this would be during his fight with Obi Wan Kenobi on Mustafar, he gives a great amount of effort of constant onslaught assaults showing his speed, acrobatics, strength and will power to try and break through the enemy guard. Anakin is also seen time and time again fighting through constant pain, like his battle with Count Dooku on Naboo when Magna guards kept using their electro staffs on Anakin while fighting the Count. However Anakin does has a limitation on his pain because in the same fight he was shocked enough by Dooku to lose consciousness. However make no mistake, Anakin is a very fit and capable warrior and it would take more than a couple hard hits to put him down physically especially with his type of will power. In short Anakin is the person who wont stop until he succeeds or dies trying.

Luke: A Strong fit male who is slower than Anakin, but is a little more stronger. This would make Luke be able to match Anakins physical assaults, and Luke has some good endurance on his side with his personal training from Yoda, despite his late start to training Luke is a capable fit human who trains really hard to be able to contend with other duelist. Luke from episode 6 has trained a lot harder over the last 2 years from his encounter with Vader with Yoda learning more abilities in his physical powerless and force abilities. An example of Lukes improvement physically is the comparison when he gets knocked on his ass from Vader in the first fight compared to when he is able to meet Darth Vaders cyborgs strength with his own. Not to mention Luke had a good tenancy and natural ability with force jumps and flips, he was very acrobatic in an evasive nature, not an attacking one. This means Luke is well conditioned for facing off against opponents and having a good endurance on his side. Luke is also the type of person who would much rather go on the defensive fight and be conditioned for marathon fights as well just like Anakin. 

Winner on Scale to 10: Anakin 5/ Luke 5

Round 2 Dueling Abilities 

  VS     

Anakin: 

The Chosen One, This was Anakin's home field, he was a greatly gifted duelist, one would even say Legendary and was considered by the Jedi Order to be their greatest warrior. Anakin was a Form V ( 5 ) Specialist, He was considered a top tier Master Leveled duelist only to be rivaled by the galaxies best. Anakin has fought many of the most dangerous types of duelist in the galaxy such as: Asajj Ventress, Magna Guards, The Son, Cin Draleq ( A Jedi Battle Master ), Count Dooku, other Jedi knights, and Obi Wan Kenobi. Anakin was also able to rival Mace Windu if he could face off with Dooku. That also means Anakin can fight Yoda as well. Anakin has many combat experiences and is a well trained duelist almost perfecting his Form V (5) of Djem So, with some acrobatic abilities and flourishes of Form IV ( 4) Ataru. If anything it only means Anakin is a top tier duelist who has great experience and knows what he is doing when it comes to a duel. He is likely to always engage in a Lightsaber duel if he can. Anakin has many hours of combat experience in the number of hundreds if not thousands of sparring hours with Obi Wan Kenobi and experience from the Clone Wars to improve his skills vastly. Anakin was a fighting machine with his 3 years of combat experience from the clone wars, in fact he was so talented in his abilities he was able to out fight Count Dooku ( A Highly renounced top 4 swordsman at the time ), when he attacked the Jedi Temple he was able to fight the battle master Cin Draleq with one hand while chocking another Jedi, not many Jedi or Sith can claim that. Finally he was able to be in a long intense marathon fight with another top great swordsman Obi Wan Kenobi, though Anakin didn't win against Obi Wan, he managed to show how deadly he was.   

Strengths: Anakin is the type of swordsman who would rush his opponents with a flurry of quick strikes with strength and speed, but they were not short burst of strikes, they were in fact long engaged attacks keeping the opponent on the defensive most of the time, but Anakins style also had a great defensive capability as well offering parries and counter strikes if ever pushed back on the defensive. Anakin also made use of some Acrobatic abilities and punching and kicking within his style. He was highly conditioned to give a high energy output for a marathon battle. Anakin was also the type that his will power will overcompensate for his short comings.

Weakness: Anakin is very direct and forward when it comes to duels, leaving him more open to physical strikes and even to the point Anakin can become tunnel visioned. Despite Anakins impressive onslaughts of attacks he is most weakest when it comes to defensive abilities, not to say his defensive abilities are lacking because he would often use parries and counter strikes in his sequences, but that is just it, Anakin needs to be on the offense more in order to be more effective against his opponents. Anakin also because of his will power and directness is more of a head strong type and if he is frustrated he might cause some small mistakes that could end his life, his will power is like a double edged sword, it can either break or make him.

Luke:

The New Hope, Luke was the son of The Chosen One, he was very gifted naturally in the force and its abilities, by the time of episode 6 Luke was renounced as a skilled duelist with his victory over Darth Vader. Luke's experience he was considered a Prodigy swordsman with how quickly he picked up on the Forms, Luke was also a practitioner with Form V (5) Djem So, as well as Form III Soresu and Form I Shii Cho, as well he practiced his acrobatics from Form IV (4) Ataru, this was taught to him by Obi Wan and Yoda combined along with Obi Wan Kenobis Journal. This gave a good foundation of knowledge for Luke, but Luke only had a few duels in his time and most of the use of his lightsaber was to deflect blaster fire. When it came to his first encounter with Vader Luke was sloppy in his form and unbalanced, impatient, anxious. The complete opposite happened when it came to Episode 6, Luke was more planted, balanced, focused, confident, and skilled. He was able to go toe to toe with Darth Vader who was considered a more tactical duelist instead of an aggressive one, this is an impressive feat, for many Jedi who faced Vader they would fall to his Crimson Blade, but the Only Jedi to fight Vader and Live are Luke Skywalker and his Mentor Obi Wan Kenobi.     

Strengths: Luke is a very indirect combatant, he is evasive rather than head strong by the time of EP 6, Luke has learned from Obi Wan Kenobi who is more defensive instead of offensive, but that isnt to say Luke can return some flourishes of his own. Luke also depends on his evasive ways to tire out opponents, his Form IV Ataru helps him evade incoming attacks and gives him openings to present his own attacks as well, Luke is even seen at one point kicking Darth Vader down a row of stairs because of the Form IV training. Luke as you would guess by now is a learned hand in more than 1 form, but he hasnt mastered any of them yet and has strong foundation knowledge of the forms.

Weakness: Luke doesn't have the offensive onslaught he needs to break through a capable duelist form, let alone he may have knowledge of more than 1 form, but that is it he has no mastery of any other forms so he can be out matched by a more skilled duelist, hence Lukes Evasiveness. Lukes form and experience were not as long as Anakins in combat or as controlled, in fact Lukes victory over Vader is credited because Luke had to use the Dark Side of the force to defeat Vader only because Lukes sister Leia was threatened to be turned to The Dark Side. In this fight that wouldn't happen, Anakin would give Luke no prompting to turn to the Dark Side or threaten Luke's sister with it. 

Winner on Scale to 10: Anakin 6/Luke 4

Round 3 Tactics & Approach 

  VS      

Anakin: Anakin was regarded as being one of the top Generals in the Clone Wars, he was brave, bold, and took risk. Anakin was never afraid to try the more direct approach, but was capable of using an in direct approach as well, but it wasn't his strong suit. Anakin also was a direct combatant with his duels as well as focused and determined, he would use his physical abilities to their best advantage and overwhelm his opponents. Anakin had good area awareness when he wasnt tunnel visioned, he made good use of just adapting to the situation. Anakin has fought against the most successful duelist who use tactics such as Count Dooku, Obi Wan Kenobi, and Asajj Ventress. Luke is smart enough to combat against a direct attacker like Vader in the early fight on the 2nd Death Star, but at a faster paced and more skilled opponent Luke would be caused to evade as he normally does putting Luke in his home field, but not giving him a decisive advantage.

Luke: Luke was regarded as a good tactic mind, he often was aware of his surroundings, made contingency plans like his battle with Jabba the Hutt, and could think on the fly like his father. He was considered more evasive which gave him time to be talk down to his opponents, re-think a plan or attack, and often was calm and level headed in the moment. However, Lukes experience is nothing to out match Anakins own Tactics. However it would make Anakin be put to his back foot. 

Winner on Scale of 10: Anakin 5/ Luke 5

Round 4 Force Powers

 VS   

Anakin: When Anakin would use the force he would often use strong force pushes and pulls, but most of the time he augmented himself in his physical abilities with the use of the force. He focused more on Lightsaber Combat rather than force abilities, however that isnt to say Anakin was unskilled in his force ability. Anakin also made use of his acrobatics with the force as well as the famous move Force Choke.  

Luke: Though not as powerful as his father Anakin, Luke trusted the force and used small pushes and pulls never overextending his powers, this in turn would cause his enemies to loosen their form, but not enough to make a decisive victory. Luke had an ability called Shatter point, which was a force ability used to find a persons weakness and take advantage of it. In this case Anakins robotic hand would be this type of weakness to Luke. Again Luke trusted his abilities in the force and also attributed the powers to his physical body as well. 

Winner on Scale of 10: Anakin 6/Luke 4

The Battle Scenario 

Luke Vs Anakin in Bespin ( Reference Luke vs. Vader) 

The Early Battle

This battle would take place on the mining planet of Bespin, where Luke and Vader had their first duel. The two would meet in the freezing chamber in a cool blue hued room. As they would approach each other Anakin would sense a power from Luke stating " You are powerful, but You are not a Jedi yet." Anakin would be the first to draw his lightsaber and attack while Luke went onto the defensive. As Anakin continued his onslaught blow for blow this would cause Luke to remain on the defensive ( Much like the beginning of Obi Wans and Darth Vaders fight in episode 3 on the platform.) As the onslaught happened Luke would do an evading flip over Anakin surprising him with the use of Ataru, Luke would say " You'll find I'm full of surprises " then Luke would begin a flourish of his own Attacks, but not over reaching himself and always being ready to be back on the defensive. Though this would stagger Anakin back a little he would be more familiar with the style of Djem So and counter it with his more experienced skills to the form thus causing Luke to go back on the defensive. 

The Middle Ground

As the two would battle on Luke would find slight openings on Anakin to give a punch or kick, but Lukes form was also unrefined as well leaving him more open to punches and kicks as well. The two would exchange a few blow for blow punches and kicks, but resulting in no where. As the fight continues Luke would begin to evade more and more and finally land a slight glancing strike across Anakins cheek. This would make Anakin Angry, As Anakin would be taken back by this Luke would conceal himself in the shadows. Anakin would search for him, as Anakin searched Luke would then jump out to surprise Anakin with an attack, but this would be no surprise to Anakin given his experience from the Clone Wars on ambushes and other more experienced duelist. As Luke would make a failed attempt of a surprise attack he would be met with Anakin being more angry and focused this would result in Anakin using the force to Force Choke Luke and then send him hurling into the wall with a force push. However, Luke would stand up and give a force push back of his own making Anakin fall backwards into a wall. Luke would make use of the ability Shatter Point and malfunction Anakins Robotic hand causing it to be disabled. The thoughts would run through Anakins mind of losing his love Padme to death if he wasnt alive to save her, Anakin would begin to feel the hate swell inside of him at the idea of leaving Padme alone. 

The High Ground

Luke would engage in an attack against the chosen one, but would be surprisingly stopped to see he would be fighting a much more focused and Darker being than Anakin, he was fighting a human form of Darth Vader. Anakin would use these Dark abilities and focus to ignore his damaged hand and begin an even more aggressive fighting form to put Luke back on defense, though this would make Anakin more prone to a counter strike, Luke also knows he must keep his guard up at all times otherwise he will fall. Luke would be calm headed in this engagement and look for an opening, but pressed extremely hard unable to react. Luke would then see Anakin have a slight opening and try to take it, but then suddenly he would feel a robotic hand grab his lightsaber with a iron grip " You underestimate my power". In an instant both of Lukes hands would be on the floor. With Luke falling to his knees Anakin would stand over him lightsaber at the ready and he would decapitate Luke. Thus ending the fight between The Chosen One and A New Hope. 

Alternative ending: 

Lukes attacks Anakin with a broken robotic hand successfully and manages to overpower a one handed Anakin resulting in the loss of Anakins other limbs, but leaving him alive.

Anakin Takes the Victory 6 out of 10 times 

Closing Thoughts 

The way I saw this fight ending was by a lightsaber duel because it would start that way and eventually end that way as well. Although this was a good fight it was simply that a good fight, Luke is said to beat Darth Vader who is a better duelist than Luke, but Vader was holding back and not wanting to kill Luke entirely and didn't have his hate and Luke didn't want to kill Vader, but Luke couldn't have beaten Vader unless he would have tapped in the dark side. In this instance Luke doesn't have the Dark side to tap into because Anakin gives him no reason to, but the fear of dying and not seeing someone you love is plenty of fuel for the Dark side and Anakin made use of it to tap into his dark side abilities. Luke just wasn't prepared for that, the battle would end like a mix of Lukes and Vaders battle on the second Death Star only switched roles and the ending of Anakins and Count Dookus battle on the Invisible hand. 

Personal Thoughts through experience

Being a person who has had 15+ years of experience in swordplay, a student who learns a Form for 3 years does not beat a student who's learned for 10 years, not saying it doesn't happen, but its unlikely. The same circumstance can be said for Luke and Anakin they have the same form with some mixture of other forms, but Anakin is more battlehardend and experienced in these forms than Luke is, especially when it comes to lightsaber to lightsaber duels. In this case Luke is outmatched when fighting a super aggressive opponent like Anakin. Not only is Luke able to not put out Anakins offense abilities, but his defense abilities would also be only enough to keep Anakin at bay only for a while, Luke was no Obi Wan  Kenobi when it came to defense so that is why it came to evading. However this would be an amazing fight to watch and witness of course this is only my opinion on the matter of who would win, but let me know what you think. Who would win? Droids or Rebels?

Have you ever wondered who would win in a force on force warfare scenario? In this article we are going to be talking about the Rebel Alliance vs The Separatist Droid Army.

In this Article we will be talking about both factions tactics, training, and skills as combatants in the field and why this would be an interesting set up.

Differences between the Droid Army and The Rebels  

Both The Droid Army and Rebel Alliance were two vastly different types of forces, one being a conventional and  manufactured army for a political separation and conquest.  The other being a organization with fighting civilians. The biggest differences is that one was a lawful manufactured belligerent and the other was a unlawful combative belligerent. In short, one was actually within the law to conduct combat, the other was not, hence the name Rebel. 

Round 1: Training

The Droid Army wasn't necessarily trained like you need to do with normal soldiers, but rather they had combative programming installed into their chips. This means they were manufactured to be obedient soldiers who would follow a commander, they were ordered usually by a commander who had a tactic mind. Droids had up-to-date motion sensors and visual learning from experienced battle hardened soldiers that influenced their movements and actions during combat.  

The Rebels: Most rebel soldiers were a mix of different species, man and alien alike who disliked the empire, because they lacked sufficient funds they never really had any type of military training. However, a lot of training would come from just a couple of weeks of knowing how to use a blaster. In this circumstance they learned more from experience rather than formal training from a military government program. 

Round one winner: Droids. Why? Even though Droids do not have training, their high end programming is more un-flawed. This even overcomes the element of surprise with little to no training. It is better to trust obedience rather than have surprise, not all surprises are good ones. Not only that, but because the up-to-date motion sensors make use of the battle hardened soldiers visual experience, Droids are already top soldiers right off the assembly line.

Round 2: Tactics 

The Droid Army: The Droid Army by themselves would have programs installed in them that gave them basic battle tactics, but they mainly got orders from their commanders and higher ups, without a higher up droids become confused. The Battle Droids main tactic was to overwhelm the enemy with a large portion of numbers until the threat was neutralized. 

The Rebel Alliance: The Rebels were not really much of a conventional army to meet greater force in open fields and force on force, but rather they had gorilla tactics and would use them to destroy supply areas, space ports, steal information, stuff that didn't deal directly with combat. They would use ambush tactics rather than meet a greater force head on.

Round Two Winner: Tie. Depends on the area and objective.  

Round 3: Skills in the field and extra

The Droid Army: The Droid Army was already made with highly skilled droid combatants, remember this was the force manufactured to take on the top tier soldiers " The Clones". Droids were produced so much in the time of the clone wars there were 100 Droids to 1 Clone Trooper, and the Clone Troopers were a conventional force with formal military training, special forces, as well as more factions of military for many different types of battles. Droids were maximized produced into the millions. Plus, their tan/brown armor gave them some slight camouflage, plus sense they had motion sensors they were able to see opponents fairly easy and react on the spot.  

The Rebel Alliance: The Gorilla Tactics were usually put into effect from small fire teams that consisted of maybe 5-10 people, perhaps a larger force of 10-20 soldiers on the ground. However, if someone were to survive battles and be a battle hardened veteran in the rebel alliance it means they had good experience and were at least worth a good fight. Sense the rebel alliance doesn't have programming, they do have the element of surprise, yes I know I said it wasn't always good, but when it is used into a positive effect it does devastating things to calculations. Besides that sense the Rebels are not bound to programming they have the thought of free will and can sacrifice themselves for their cause if they chose to do so. Humans always have the ability of surprise on their sides when it comes to machines. This could always turn the tide of a battle. 

Round 3 Winner: The Rebels. Why? Though The Droids might outnumber and have superior programming and reaction time that the rebels have, the fact that droids can be confused and dont gain battle experience such as humans do mean that if droids were to go against battle hardened resistance fighters, the resistance fighters are likely to overcome their odds as well as complete their objective even if it means dying for it.

The Final Verdict: This would be an interesting battle to witness, the biggest conventional force the Rebels have ever mustered was in the movie Star Wars Rouge One. The Rebels went to fight on the planet Scarif to obtain the Death Star Plans. The Rebels technically won by obtaining their objective and stealing the Death Star Plans, but ultimately lost everyone involved in the mission. As long as hope survives the rebels have a victory. 

The Scenario: We are on the planet Naboo, it would play out much like how it did in Episode 1 with the Rebels being the Naboo security force vs the B1 Battle Droid oppressors, though the Rebels would fight very valiantly taking down scores upon scores of droids, The Droids would eventually overcome the Rebels by sure numbers alone. This would result in the Rebels surrendering until they had the element and opportunity of surprise to take down an important target. Lets say the Target is Vice Nute Gun Ray ( The President of the Trade Federation ) The Droids would more than likely take the Rebels to the leader for interrogation of other rebels, but this would cost Nute Gun Ray his life because one of the Rebels would sacrifice themselves to destroy their targer, it might kill all the droids and Nute and rebels in the room, but the Trade Federation would simply produce more Droids and have another President for the Trade Federation. Winner: Droids

City: Droids due to greater force and more military power present. 
Open Areas: Rebels for a short while, but Droids due to overwhelming numbers
Ambushes: Rebels due to their more likely camouflage abilities  
Gorilla Tactics: Rebels for their unconventional ways 
Objective Targets being met: Rebels willing to sacrifice themselves for their cause. 
ManPower: Droids, even though they are not man, they outnumber rebels 50 to 1 
Skills: Droids compared to average Rebels, high end motion sensors and reaction out match little to no training in combat. 
Training: Droids, faster, has basic understandings in an instant, obedient. 
Resilience: Rebels, they never give up. 
The Element of Surprise: Rebels, man can always play on a machines programming
Funding: Droid Army, has much more money support for more leaders and battle units. 
These reasons all come into play when a battle happens.

A.R.C. Troopers

During the Clone Wars, a certain type of soldier was needed as a special force for the Clone Core, these soldiers would be specialized and highly trained above the average Clone Trooper. These Troopers were for high risk missions. These soldiers would be called ARC TROOPERS.
Advanced Recon Commandos.

Advanced Recon Commandos were like the Navy Seals of the Clone Army, if there was a high value Target then the ARC Troopers were the ones for the job to obtain the target. If you need an infiltration mission then they specialized in Recon missions as well. These were battle hardend veterans who showed much prowess on the battlefield. 

Many of the ARC Troopers wore different armor sets and color variations form normal Standard Clone Troopers as well as Other Arc Troopers. There armor would be more advanced as well as hold more equipment, along with that because of the difference many soldiers would be recognized by their paldrin on their shoulders to signify their rank.

Many of these ARC Troopers would act as commanders of Clone Trooper Battalions as well as second in commands if leadership was needed. 

In short 1 ARC Trooper was worth 10 Standard Clones. These Troopers were the best of the best and they were not a force to be trifled with lightly. 

Training Quality: 

 Again these ARC Troopers were trained very highly and extensively, the first batch of Arc Troopers were trained under the personal tutelage of none other than Jango Fett, The galaxies best bounty hunter at the time. Afterwards these first batch of Arc Troopers would later go on to train the future Arc Troopers of the Clone Wars until the end of cloning.

Fun Facts!

Did you know that Jedi's cant have red Lightsabers? Not because its identified as the bad guy weapon, but because in order for a Lightsaber crystal to be red you must make a Lightsaber crystal bleed. Jedi are incapable of doing it. 

Fun Fact! Did you know the Jedi Lightsaber Crystal calls to you? In Star Wars The Clone Wars there is a small episode that describes how a Jedi chooses their Lightsaber Crystal or rather the Crystal chooses them.
